Soderling Elbowed Out Of Valencia By Tennis Week

Robin Soderling has been elbowed out of next week's Valencia Open 500, reports Swedish public television SVT and Reuters.

The 10th-ranked Swiss, who is suffering from an elbow injury that forced him to concede a walkover to Marcos Baghdatis in Saturday's Stockholm semifinals, still has a shot to qualify for the season-ending ATP World Tour Finals at London's 02 Arena. However Soderling will need to go deep in the draw at his final event, the BNP Paribas Masters in Paris, starting on November 8.

The 25-year-old Swede reached the second round in Paris last November.
