Andy Murray has beeen wearing adidas shoes on court for years. Next season, he will wear adidas apparel as well.
The 22-year-old Murray has signed on to wear adidas starting in 2010. Murray, who previously wore Fred Perry clothes, will sport the adidas apparel Competition line and the world's biggest selling tennis shoe, the Barricade.
"I'm really excited to be joining adidas as they are a massive global sports brand with a credible heritage in tennis," Murray said. "Joining a list of stars who have worn the brand, including Muhammad Ali and David Beckham, is an honor. I'm in no doubt that this deal will help me both on and off the court."
Murray will debut his exclusive adidas Competition and Barricade colorways alongside fellow Briton Laura Robson, at the Hopman Cup in Perth, Australia in early January. The Andy Murray Competition apparel and Barricade footwear ranges will be available in selected retailers worldwide starting January 1st, 2010.
